Come spesso accade, non riesco a dormire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sono circa le 5 del mattino a Nicosia e dalla mia stanza sento l'Azan. A quest'ora del giorno \u00e8 il suono pi\u00f9 bello.<br>Mi rilasso subito, la mia mente viaggia verso est, non sono pi\u00f9 a Cipro e so che presto mi addormenter\u00f2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/anislandeast.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Old-city-Nicosia.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-528\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>L'Azan \u00e8 il richiamo alla preghiera, trasmesso 5 volte al giorno dagli altoparlanti nella zona nord. Si pu\u00f2 sentire nella maggior parte del comune di Nicosia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I suoni non conoscono nessun confine.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c8 interessante come la maggior parte degli stranieri che si trasferiscono qui sia entusiasta del richiamo alla preghiera. Anche se non sono religiosi, \u00e8 una delle cose che gli mancano di pi\u00f9 quando lasciano Cipro.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Circa 20 minuti dopo \u00e8 il momento delle campane della chiesa.<br>Dal tono e dalla frequenza delle campane capisco quando c'\u00e8 una festa religiosa o un evento importante legato alla Chiesa. Nel corso della giornata, le campane suonano pi\u00f9 volte per invitare a celebrare una messa o un funerale.&nbsp;<br>A volte la messa viene anche trasmessa dagli altoparlanti della chiesa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Camminare nella citt\u00e0 vecchia la domenica mattina significa sentire molti canti religiosi. Ci sono diverse chiese e congregazioni minori che celebrano la domenica, la maggior parte delle quali non ha un edificio religioso apposito e i fedeli si riuniscono in un negozio, in un garage o in un appartamento.&nbsp;<br>Mentre cammini, sentirai cori e persone che pregano in diverse lingue.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/anislandeast.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Catholic-church.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-529\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>La giornata \u00e8 solitamente tranquilla nelle stradine residenziali della citt\u00e0 vecchia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un fruttivendolo passa con la sua auto, ripetendo con un altoparlante \"kali karpoutzi, 5 euro\" (belle angurie, 5 euro).<br>Italia, Cipro, Grecia, Palestina, \u00e8 possibile che questi venditori ambulanti abbiano sempre la stessa voce?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il vicino di fronte a me ascolta la sua radio in russo, chiss\u00e0 cosa dicono! Il vicino del piano di sotto ascolta la sua solita musica greca e araba.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La maggior parte delle vie del centro sono punti di incontro tra amici. Li senti ridere e raccontare le loro storie. Usano il Greco, il Turco o entrambi, soprattutto quando si tratta di vecchi amici. Ma anche Inglese, Francese, Arabo, Filippino e molte altre lingue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La maggior parte delle manifestazioni si svolgono nella citt\u00e0 vecchia o nelle sue vicinanze e si fermano a <a href=\"http:\/\/anislandeast.com\/it\/eleftheria-square-between-past-and-present\/\">Piazza Eleftheria<\/a>. Se sei vicino, puoi sentire i loro slogan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"http:\/\/anislandeast.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Phaneromeni-Square-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-530\" srcset=\"https:\/\/anislandeast.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Phaneromeni-Square-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/anislandeast.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Phaneromeni-Square-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/anislandeast.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Phaneromeni-Square-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/anislandeast.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Phaneromeni-Square-1536x1152.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Due giorni alla settimana, se vai all' <a href=\"http:\/\/anislandeast.com\/it\/oxi-market\/\">Oxi market<\/a>puoi sentire gli agricoltori promuovere i loro prodotti con le migliori offerte.<br>\u00c8 un'occasione per fare pratica con il greco.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le notti non sono troppo rumorose e si pu\u00f2 tranquillamente dormire con le finestre aperte, a meno che non ci sia un bar o un pub sotto casa.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante i fine settimana c'\u00e8 sempre un po' di musica che suona non troppo lontano, da un lato o dall'altro. Spesso sarai proprio l\u00ec e non a casa tua. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voci, canzoni, suoni che non conoscono confini.
